Join us for our November First Thursday as we recap the election from Tuesday to discuss all of the results and how they may affect where you live.
A rep from Philabundance will be joining us to talk about what they do, how they connect with those in need, the South Philly agencies they work with, and talk about food insecurity programs.
As we roll into November a lot of us get the humble chance to gather with friends and family to give thanks - while eating a feast. There are many in our area that unfortunately are not given that same opportunity. We will be partnering with Philabundance to collect food donations for those in need this month. So, please, when you come out try and bring some items with you. More details below.
Donation Guidelines via Philabundance:
- See their top 10 most needed items poster
- Donations should be non-perishable, purchased recently, and in good condition. Philabundance cannot accept glass containers.
- Due to short shelf life, please do not donate bakery items or bread.
- Philabundance prefers items that are low in sugar/sodium and free of high fructose corn syrup.
