Grassroots Advocacy for South Philadelphia invites you to Guerin Rec Center for a special event to meet candidates of the Democratic Primary for the 2nd District of Philadelphia City Council - Councillor Kenyatta Johnson and candidate Lauren Vidas.
Candidates will spend the first half of the evening answering questions submitted to GRASP. The second half of the evening will be a meet-and-greet for you to personally interact and ask the candidates questions about issues that are important to you, the voter!
Though at this time, due to scheduling conflicts, Councillor Johnson has not been able to confirm his appearance since our rescheduling date. We ask that you please be patient with our format as we're hoping the councillor wil be able to ultimately join us.
We will be publishing the questionnaire following the event for reference.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
**All donations will go towards Guerin Rec Center(Parks & Rec) & GRASP. We strive to work with our neighbors and venues in the community while also being able to provide you with substantive events in the future like this one. If all you can pay is $0 that is totally acceptable. Hope to see you there.**
